I have a strange affinity for goats, many summer days you can find me in a petting zoo surrounded by my bearded friends. It is no surprise that any band with goat in the title will get my undivided attention and 'Long Live the Goat' deserves every second of it.
Their latest two track ep 'Melt' is chock full of catchy riffs and just a touch of stoner groove. Paired with their previous release, 'A Greeting From the Dark King' and we have four tracks of glorious music. Hopefully these fellas from Chicago put out a full length release one day, that will be a good day.
