Massimiliano Antonio "Max" Cavalera is a Brazilian singer, guitarist and songwriter. Best known as being the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Sepultura and later Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy. Having been making music since the early 80s he has had a long tough journey and put Brazil on the map for the Metal scene. Over the years he has played with an impressive who's who of metal musicians such as Tom Araya of Slayer, Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory, Jello Biafra, Rex Brown of Pantera, Dave Grohl, Dez Fafara, Corey Taylor and well the list keeps going.
